About me.
Hi, I’m Hester - and I’m glad you’re here.
I’m originally from the Netherlands, but my story starts in Muscat (Oman), where I was born. I grew up across different countries, and today, I live in Abu Dhabi - continuing the adventure of building a life abroad.
I hold a Master of Science in Human Movement Sciences, with a major in Sport Psychology. It was during those early studies in the Netherlands that my fascination with personal growth, motivation, mindset, and what success really means first took root. From there, I built a corporate career spanning fast-paced sales, HR consulting, and HR tech - with roles across Europe and Asia, and stints living in Vietnam, Singapore, the Philippines, and the UAE.
I know what it means to uproot your life, to start over, to rebuild - again and again. I also know what burnout feels like, and what it teaches you. My morning walk became my silver lining during that recovery, and I almost never skip it.
My family calls me "Switzerland" - the one who seeks harmony and shows up for others. It's always been true. I've been the person people turn to. And at some point I realised: this is what I want to do, properly, for the people who need it most.
Coaching is where I feel most alive. I hold space. I ask the deeper questions. I help people reconnect with who they truly are and what they actually want - not what they've been told to want, or what looks good on paper. I feel lucky to witness those moments when someone takes a brave step, gains clarity, or simply realizes they’re not stuck - just ready for something new.
A little more about the person behind the sessions.
I’m a loving partner, a middle sister and a mother to the most beautiful daughter, Mila. I get excited about sunrises, have a deep craving for nature and love being active. I devour interior design magazines, love a decaf coffee and saying ‘hello’ to strangers walking by. I’m proud of my resilience, my kindness and the network I’ve built up across the world.
Curious whether we'd be a good fit?
