About me.

Hi, I’m Hester - and I’m glad you’re here.

I’m originally from the Netherlands, but my story starts in Muscat (Oman), where I was born. I grew up across different countries, and today, I live in Abu Dhabi - continuing the adventure of building a life abroad.

I hold a Master of Science in Human Movement Sciences, with a major in Sport Psychology. It was during those early studies in the Netherlands that my fascination with personal growth, motivation, and what success really means began to take shape.

My corporate career has taken me through the world of fast-paced sales, into HR consulting and the HR Tech space, with roles in account management and customer success across Europe and Asia. Together with my partner, we’ve had the opportunity to live and work in Vietnam, Singapore, the Philippines and most recently, the UAE. Each move brought growth, challenge, and a new start - again and again.

My family lovingly calls me “Switzerland” - the one who seeks harmony and shows up for others. And it’s true: I’ve always had a strong pull toward people. I know what it’s like to feel at a crossroads, to face big transitions, to restart, and to crave support while figuring things out.

This is what led me to become a trained Co-Active Coach.

Coaching is where I feel most alive - holding space for others, asking the deeper questions, and helping people reconnect with who they are and what they want. I feel lucky to witness those moments when someone takes a brave step, gains clarity, or simply realizes they’re not stuck - just ready for something new. It's an honour to work with people from diverse backgrounds and watch them grow.

Curious if coaching is the right next step for you?

Who else am I?

I’m a loving partner, a middle sister and a mother to the most beautiful daughter Mila. I get excited about sunrises, have a deep craving for nature and love being active. I (almost) never skip my morning walk, my silver lining since recovering from burning out. I devour interior design magazines, love a decaf coffee and saying ‘hello’ to strangers walking by. I’m proud of my resilience, my kindness and the network I’ve built up across the world.

Who are you and what are you proud of?
